Looking back on 2011

In 2011 I was honoured to win the Microsoft Partners in Learning award for Victoria. The award was for a project dear to my heart-‘Music Matters’ and focussed on Web Conferencing- also important to my professional practice. This article was in the last edition of the Inspire magazine for 2011. inspire article

The 2011 Music Camp was a wonderful experience- 130 students and wonderful music teachers and tutors all coming together for an amazing three days and culminating in an inspiring concert.

Our annual Band Tour this year was to Darwin- an incredible week of sightseeing and performing at the Darwin Festival. The students and staff from Boneo and Rosebud will never forget that fantastic experience.

I was lucky to participate in the Games Development Trial in 2011. We spent the year researching developing games. We used the peer coaching model to involve the whole senior school in this journey. Articles and videos in FUSE coming soon.

We continued our Ultranet journey and started on an Edmodo learning journey- I think this will feature highly in 2012.

Looking back on my school life in 2011- a rollercoaster ride and a fabulous journey with wonderful Boneo, Peninsula and worldwide online colleagues.

Thanks for sharing the journey with me.
